Ricky was born to humble beginnings in San Diego where as a high schooler he excelled in several sports including football, baseball and track. At a very young age, he had an intuitive sense that life is an adventure, and that the highs and lows are therefore expected and welcomed as part of the ride. In 1998 at the age of 21 he was awarded the 64th Heisman Trophy. Selected with the fifth overall pick in the 1999 NFL Draft by the New Orleans Saints, Williams would go on to spend eleven seasons in the NFL with the Saints, Miami Dolphins and Baltimore Ravens and one season with the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League. Ricky holds the Dolphins’ record for most 100-yard rushing games in team history with 24. In the middle of his accomplished NFL career, Ricky found cannabis and everything changed. At the time, he became synonymous with the negative stereotype of the lazy stoner. Undeterred by people’s ignorance, and inspired by the desire to understand his fascination with cannabis, Ricky embarked on a journey to find healing alternatives to Western medicine in the foothills of the Himalayas and became the “Heisman Healer.” He discovered that cannabis was only one of thousands of alternative healing modalities humans have used to improve their quality of life. The insights gained from these studies gave Ricky the keys to his own healing. Despite facing adversity and public scrutiny, Ricky emerged transformed, becoming a holistic healer and entrepreneur. Ricky now shares his healing insights through his healing bodywork, Astrology Readings, herbal formulations, and wellness consultations.
